Hairrr help needd hair stylist!?

whats the best way to dye brown hair that has color and bleach on it from other times of dyeing my hair to blue?Hairrr help needd hair stylist!?
It's always best just to go to a salon to see a hairstylist.Hairrr help needd hair stylist!?
See your hairstylist. Im not sure how long ago you colored your hair but if your not careful you could damage it. Try a hot oil treatment and then use two boxes. Condition your hair well after and you'll be good to go.
go to a salon.

uh duh.
well u didnt even explain what ur tryin to acomplish with your hair
go to a stylist, they have hair stripper (which smells like cat pee) Have them bleach whatever section you want to dye blue and then dye it blue. GET A CONSULT FIRST! it's free.

Can hair stylists get rid of tight curls?

Can they? Without straightening it or damaging it in anyway..I've tried frizz ease and it helps..anything else? Can hair stylists get rid of tight curls?
Why rely on stylist, do it yourself.

Go to Rite-Aid or Walgreens, they still sell plastic curlers in 3 different sizes. Set your hair in curlers and take them out when completely dried. Finger comb your hair and you have healthy beautiful looser curls without the frizz, without split ends, without your hair drying out AND natural shine %26amp; softness.

They've done that for many generations, and they're the best way to go without damaging your hair. Can hair stylists get rid of tight curls?
Without straightening it or damaging it by using a chemical relaxer, a professional hair stylist can't change tight curls in any way that you couldn't do at home. I'm a curly-haired gal myself, and I've tried everything.

To loosen up curls, this is what I do. Wash your hair, towel dry, apply an anti-frizz product, and braid it in one big braid at the base of your neck while it's still damp. Take it down once it's mostly dry (either air dried or using a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment). Instead of tight curls, you'll have loose waves.
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.Try this tutorial out so you can see what I''m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi_xc3fsr鈥?/a>

Its for curling ur hair with the flat iron.
Yes

FOR ALL HAIR STYLIST'S OUT THERE !!!?

What do YOU think is the BEST IN-EXPENSIVE flat iron out there, that I can buy at a local drugstore?!

Thanks in advance! (:FOR ALL HAIR STYLIST'S OUT THERE !!!?
Chi is one of the best, not only has it been around for a long time it was one of first straighteners made. It heats up really quick and the plates don't harm your hair as much. I'd use a heat protecting spray though because any heat still does harm your hair. I suggest Nexxus Heat Protexx.

I hope I helped,

Why not bring in a picture of Djokovic and do a little show, tell and cut ;-)I have the same hair type as Novak Djokovic. How can I tell the stylist to cut my hair the way he has his?
i don't think you should cut it as short, it looks bad. I believe it's called broom hair, if you're going to cut it short cut the top of it and leave the sides a little shorter than the rest. I suggest you grow it outI have the same hair type as Novak Djokovic. How can I tell the stylist to cut my hair the way he has his?
You should give the stylist a picture of Novak Djokovic's front and back hair style.

I go to Bitonti and i love it.

    I don't have a hair stylist? WTH?

How come it seems like everyone in the world has a hairstylist but me? Why do I need one? Whenever I go to questions the answers are just 'ask your hair stylist'? ???I don't have a hair stylist? WTH?
hahaaa i dont have one either dont worry.

    my mom cuts my hair.

    or me.

    :)I don't have a hair stylist? WTH?
A hair stylist is the person at a hair salon who cuts and colors your hair. Unless you never ever get your hair done, you should have one. Usually people answer with ask your hair stylist because this person deals with your hair most often and knows more about your hair than any person on yahoo answers would.
    me neither!

    i cut my own hair

What do you tell the stylist when you want ';scene hair';?

I want my hair to look like this....

http://i653.photobucket.com/albums/uu260鈥?/a>What do you tell the stylist when you want ';scene hair';?
Nala says print the photo out and show the stylist. What do you tell the stylist when you want ';scene hair';?
I had my hair cut like that awhile ago. I told her I wanted really short layers up top but to leave my bangs long, and that I also wanted to keep the main length of my hair. Tell her you want to be able to tease it, the hairstylist should be able to go from that and give you what you want. :D
print the picture and bring it with you.

maybe ask her to texture cut it because razoring really damages your hair. it looks good when you get it done but after a while the ends look terrible.
Print it out show her the picture or go to a scene hair stylist. If you dont have a printer tell her a short haircute with long layers thats all it is.
I actually would never have that conversation with my ';barber';. You could just print the picture off and take it to your stylist.
So bring that picture with you and tell them thats how you want it.
just bring the photo in and show the hair stylist!
Why don't you just print the pic and take it with you?
it looks nice the way it is sexy
bring the photo ! thats what im doing ! im getting that one too !(:

    Post-Perm care question...hair stylist needed!!?

I'm getting a spiral perm tomorrow (I've been contemplating this for six months so don't bother telling me not to :P ). I plan on switching to a different line of hair care products afterwards to take care of my newly curly/damaged hair, but I'm also aware that the sales people are going to try to sell everything they possibly can to me. So I'd like to ask you guys if you have any recommendations for curly hair, what products are a must-have, and what ones are bs.Post-Perm care question...hair stylist needed!!?
you should not shower for at least one day after, if you could bare 2 go for it! its best to avoid using any thermal tools or flat irons, curling irons, high temp. hair dryers ect. but why not purchase care items from the hair dresser who's doing your perm? but anyways, avoid gels and hairspray the best you can because they are full of alcohols that can dry out your hair. look for conditioning products, and shampoo's and condtioners for chemically treated or colored treated hair. if your hairs in bad shape Dont get the perm, wait it out and get it healthy first. if it feels way coarser then you expected after the process look into Joico's Kpak system its a great line especially for damaged hair. also for styling aids Redken makes a curl perfecter its mainly silicone based so it coats your hair, keeps down frizz and also helps protect it and its great and lightweight- no hold down and all the body you need... ';ringlet 07 curl perfector'; hope that helps! enjoy your new look!Post-Perm care question...hair stylist needed!!?
The Curls Rock line works pretty well, I think it's by TIGI/BedHead.
I am only 14 so I dont know what is best or needed, but I thought that this was really cute.[ 2cd one down on the right]
i use herbal essences totally twisted i love it use the gel to but not the mouse.
dont get a shower until after youve had your perm for 24 hours.

    NEED HAIR STYLIST PROFESSIONAL ADVICE!?

What shampoo and conditioner brands are the best for colour treated hair? I was told by my stylist not to use Pantene anymore, because the soft feeling it was giving my hair was only a build up of wax caused by the shampoo itself! I want my hair colour to stay in for as long as possible, but I still want it to feel amazingly soft and stay silky and shiny. : )NEED HAIR STYLIST PROFESSIONAL ADVICE!?

ok, so my hair stylist is a male. He says that i'm not that attractive compared to the women that he's seen in his lifetime. He even went as far as saying ';You're not 'all that'.'; However, he wants me to be his 'poster girl' on his flyers to promote his new hair salon. My question is why would he want me to do this if he thinks i'm not pretty? It just doesn't add up. Plz help!Male hair stylist???? Any advice?
he might be saying that to lure you into being his ';poster girl'; because maybe he thinks that you have the potential to be gorgeous or he wants to enhance your image. you never knowMale hair stylist???? Any advice?

    The hair stylist told me...?

the hairsylist told me that my hair is very thick

so what should i do other than thinning my hair and if i thin my hair does it hurt??The hair stylist told me...?
lol no thinning doesnt hurt. Girls LOVE thick hair.. I remember in june when me n my sis got our hair cut the lady couldnt stop saying how thick our hair was.. She even said she was ready to go home lol got tired out.. pfft. But our hair is really shiny, and smooth. If yours is like wild crazy thick, dont grow it long. Keep it kinda short(1-1/2 inches)

I realized none of that really made sense.. but still, dont thin your hair lolThe hair stylist told me...?
No, if done correctly, this shouldn't hurt at all.

    I hope this helps!!
How can it hurt? Hair is dead! Just make sure that its not thinned too close to you hairline .

REMOTE CONTROLS...AIR CONDITIONERS...HAIR STYLIST:do these kind of things make us LAZY or BLESSED?

In 1960, when Metrecal came out, it occurred to me that this is the first culture in history that has been required to produce a non-nutritional food. We're eating too much and moving too little.REMOTE CONTROLS...AIR CONDITIONERS...HAIR STYLIST:do these kind of things make us LAZY or BLESSED?
Nothing is either good or bad. All things are as they are. It is both our use of such (i.e., how we employ them, why we employ them, how will using them effect ones self as well as others, what will the impact to the environment be, etc.) and ones understading of ones actions that will have bearing upon the outcome (i.e., karma, consequences, etc.)

One must be controling something if one is using a remote control. It is also implied that one is at a distance from what one is controlling. Why is one trying to control something?

Another question that must be asked of one's self might be is the use of such taking one out of a natural environment and, thereby, away from the reality of the moment in which one lives?

Remote controls and air conditioners use some source of power so as to be enabled to operate. Does the development and creation of the power needed to operate them help or harm one's self, others, the enviornment?

No one is separate from all others, nor from the very universe itself. Each is a part of all others. As such, one's practices must be based in mindful awareness, kindness and compassion so as to attempt to cause as little harm as possible in keeping with the circumstances of the present moment one is in.

Hair stylist? Keeping one's self clean is a good thing for one's self and can have a positive effct on others. Hair can be fun to style and change, if one's genetics will allow this. (This one is balding, so this one's style choices are becoming limited, smile.) Important questions may arise though regarding one's hair. Is one attatched to one's hair? Attatchment, along with desires effect one's ego and ego, representing the illusion of self, along with one's desires and attatchments cause the suffering that all beings experience in this life (and in any subsequent lives). This is why monks and nuns shave their heads. What are the products one uses on one's hair? What are they made from? How does the making of such effect one's self, others and the enviornment? What will be the consequences of manufacturing these products, selling these products (Are false promises used to lead people to want them? Does wanting them correspond to desires and attatchments?, etc.) and using these products.

Smile. MIndfulness, awareness, kindness. Practice, practice, practice. Each one must live in the present moment, mindful of the past, realizing there is a possibility of a future while being in the present.

Be well.REMOTE CONTROLS...AIR CONDITIONERS...HAIR STYLIST:do these kind of things make us LAZY or BLESSED?
    blessed

What makes us lazy is cars, tv's, supermarkets, bars, restaurants
It depends on the person or situation.TV remotes are convenient if you don't feel like getting up to change channels. But,they are a necessity,if a person is bedridden. And AC`s are necessary to people with breathing problems or other health issues.Personally,I'm stingy when it comes to the electric bill so I try to avoid using it.Now, hair stylists are a necessity in my book for the simple reason that I can and have destroyed my hair trying to trim or be creative with it.(Thank God for hats).
Remote controls are necessary because you cannot perform all functions on your television by the 6 or 7 buttons on the front. Air conditioning makes it possible to do things in the heat...I mean seriously...sitting on your couch panting in lethargy from the 100 degree weather in your 3rd floor apartment? How can you get anything done in that weather without air conditioning. Hair stylist makes you lazy?? Honey....If I were to try to cut my hair on my own...
remote controls-lazy air conditioners and hair stylists-blessed

i wouldnt use my remotes if the dvd player or tv had all the controls on it, but nowadays most stuff can't even be operated without the remotes. or you can only do the most basic play/ stop/ pause stuff.
my remote has been missing for weeks, never use a/c,hair stylist,ha,ha,ha,ha,not me sister,so i guess im blessed, but that dont sound right.
Acs, hair stylists: no. the remote: hell yeah! i remember the days when we had 2 get off our behinds %26amp; turn the dials on the tv 2 change the channels... of course, we had about 10 channels back then....
i'd say LAZY cuse we could do something much more better in our lives. but blessed in a way. cuse we are the smartest as*ses in the world. you know animals couldn't think of making tv or whatever.....

    If u r a hair stylist???

    hey all,

i wanna permanently straighten my hair but i want the steps one by one, i watched a tv show and they were talking about straightening the hair with the iron after using the product and then put on the other product for stopping the process but i dunno how!!!!

    can u plz help ASAP!!If u r a hair stylist???
at our shop we use a product called ladder down although you still will need your new growth touched upIf u r a hair stylist???
first a relaxing cream is used on your hair to break it down to the point where your hair is stretchy.

then the relaxing cream is washed out and your hair is flat ironed in very, very tiny sections, repeatedly.

immediately afterwards, the straightening perm cream is put into your hair for 20 minutes.

lastly, wash out the cream and blow dry. do not wash your hair for a recommended 3 days afterwards.

i don't recommend doing this by yourself. there is NO way you can get salon results. (i say this because i'm remembering how much they flat ironed, especially the hair on the back of my head, how i still i had to be when they were putting on the perm cream.) i don't recommmend doing this at home.
Why would you ever take a chance like that? Save your money and go to a salon

I have extreamly wavy hair and I hate it. I got it relaxed at a Regis Salon and paid 85 bucks and it didn't work AT ALL. I was furious. I wanted to know what treatments are out there that can help. But something not so expensive. Thank you!Hair stylist?! help!?
Have you gave a flat iron straitener a go? If you did this ever couple of days your hair will be trained to that style and will 'act' more relaxed. Always straiten after washing and conditioning, Sunsilk do a straiting shampoo and conditoner that can help relax hair. You can then follow this by using thier serum, then straiten your hair , spray a lil hairspray on finger tips to lie down those flyaways.

Heres a review of Sunsilk Smoothing Cream:

Advantages: Makes your style after drying stay in for MUCH longer

Disadvantages: Can feel a bit heavy if not put on wet hair

    Recommend to potential buyers: yes

    Full review

    --------------------------------------…

“Do your kinks or frizz mean that you are stuck between straight and curly, neither one nor the other?”

This is what’s written on the back of every bottle of Sunsilk Instant Smoothing Cream. Well, that sums up my hair pretty much, which is why I decided to buy it.

    ***The Product***

It’s a leave in cream that’s meant to smooth your hair of kinks and frizziness, and leave you with “Instantly smooth and sleek, soft and shiny hair”.

I first knew of it by getting a free sample in magazine, and I tried it, but it didn’t really do much good, because you can imagine the small silly amount they put in sachets of samples! But it seemed like a good idea, so I bought a bottle of it and tried it a couple more times.

    ***On Wet Hair***

My usual routine after washing my hair is just to dry it, then straighten it; I don’t usually bother with any other hair products. But using this, I washed my hair, then left it wet for a while, till it was just damp. Then I rubbed some of this cream onto my hands and onto my hair. The ‘cream’ itself is quite runny, but this is a benefit as otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to spread it all over the hair properly, plus when it’s on, it remains quite light, I couldn’t really tell it was there whilst my hair was still wet. I only used about 1 walnut sized amount, which is what the bottle suggests, and it covered my hair quite nicely. Having done this, my hair got a blow dry as per usual, and although it dried less wavy than usual, it did feel a bit waxy and heavy. Then the straighteners: this is where it made the most difference. I noticed it took less effort to straighten each section, and it also left the hair feeling nice and soft and silky, not really waxy anymore. After straightening my whole head (well, the hair), it felt so nice running my hands through it, and the ends, whilst usually silly and flicking in every direction, actually stayed pretty much poker straight. Amazing!! :) And then my sister came and asked me if I’d just had my hair cut - that’s how good a job it does! Hehe.

    ***On Dry Hair***

Hmm, a slightly different story. On the bottle it says to use on either wet or dry hair. So to get my money’s worth I thought I should at least try it! One day after washing and drying my hair, I squeezed out some onto my hand, and smoothed it onto my hair. It went on fine, absorbed nice and quickly, however, it just made my hair feel wet again, and a bit clumpy, all stuck together. Then I had to blow dry it so it was a bit pointless really. Might aswell just put it onto your wet hair!

    ***Design***

The bottle is a small cute little squeezy bottle, 200ml in size, a big enough portion I think because you don’t use a huge amount. It’s coloured a nice purple, to match the range of sunsilk products for ‘hair prone to kinks and frizz’ and is very noticeable (you won’t lose it). The lid is similar to one of those sports bottle lids, so it just pops up to reveal a hole for the cream to come through, then to seal it again you push it down. No lost tops, no mess!

    ***Price and availability***

I bought mine from Wilkinsons (The Best Shop In The World – see my separate review hehe), at £1.67. At the moment, all the sunsilk range products are on offer there for buy one get one free, so even better! That makes it effectively 83.5p each, a bargain!! The product is also available at other stores too; pretty much everywhere that sells toiletries and stuff – Superdrug, Boots, Asda, etc, at pretty much the same price I’d guess.

Well, I would definitely recommend this product to people who maybe are used to using hair products everyday; I myself don’t like too much heaviness on my head as there’s quite enough hair there thankyou, but I will definitely be using it everytime I’m going out and want to make that special effort on my hair, or something!

P.S. It smells gorgeous! Very fruity and fresh :)

Hope the reciew helped and the imformation i have provided, good luck i hope it all works out for you xHair stylist?! help!?

Have you tried flatironing, and maybe rubbing in some John Frieda Frizz Ease after shampooing? Garnier also puts out a similar product. Give that a try and see if it helps.
Sometimes if you have your period it won't work. My dad is a hairdresser and he always straightens my hair with the hair permanent solution. He just doesn't use the curlers. I think he used Pantene, but I guess any brand would do, but have a professional do it because you may end up burning your hair since you recently used a hair relaxer. I'm surprised the hair relaxer didn't take.
Have you tried one of those at home hair straighteners. It uses steam to kind of iron your hair. Good-luck!
    buy a flat iron

u can spend as little as 10(i wouldnt recommend it) or as much as 175
I would buy a good flat iron like chi, paul mitchell has a good one or ghd. If you buy a cheap one from walmart or some place like that it wont heat up as high so your results won't be as good.
How long is your hair?? If it's above your breasts, it will definitely not work.. I did the same thing and it didn't work out.. I asked a friend of mine, who happened to be a hair stylist, and she tried everything she could but nothin' worked.. You could let it grow longer so it won't be wavy.. That's what I did and it worked.. I just changed my shampoo and conditioner so it will also lessen the waviness..
What about just using a flat iron? It may take a while until you get used to it..
Relaxing only helps for the frizz, and it shortens the straightneing time (with dryer or flat iron) dramatically, as you will see if you try it out. I always relax my own hair at home-get it at Wallgreens if you don't trust the salon. It does work, but its not going to give you poker straight hair at all-don't be decieved! The only permanent treatment I know of is over $500 so I suggest you start loving your waves really soon.
By treatments, do you mean relaxers? Or, treatments to repair what the relaxing experience did to you hair? If it's to recommend a relaxer, the product line ';Bone Strait';, is the best I have ever encountered. Both the relaxer and the at-home product line are great. It's both effective and mild.

okay; so i wanna cut my bangs like demi lovato's short straight across one.

but my bangs are realllly thick!

could a hair stylist possibly thin it out %26amp;make it cute?

    thanks%26lt;3Hair stylist?! help!?
If you were to thin your bangs out, that would mean cutting peices even shorter than your bangs are. This could cause more frizz or a lot of fly-aways. Keep in mind that the shorter the hair is the harder it is to manage (ie. Straighten, de-frizz, ect.)

It would be up to you if you would want to take this risk.Hair stylist?! help!?
yes they can definitely thin them out..but i wouldnt recommend it just straighten them a bunch and it will look better.. i had really thick hair and then got it thinned out and every since then my hair has been too thin and getting thinner.

I just recently moved to Melb & am looking for a stylist for afro hair.?

It's not about claiming discrimination as the other poster put it. I am happy to go to any salon that can work with my hair which is quite thick and coarse. Just in the past I have had several experiences where people weren't trained to work with my hair and the results were disasterous. So I need someone trained with afro hair.I just recently moved to Melb %26amp; am looking for a stylist for afro hair.?
HI I don't know where Melb is, but if you are on the East Coast in the US you can go to any Dominican hair salon. You will get the best hair treatments and care and crazy low prices. Guaranteed!

  • ABOUT DYING HAIR BLEACH BLOND .... HELP PLEASE !!!!!! (A Hair Stylist would be Very Helpful)?

(I did full bleach blond highlights over light blond hair to get a white effect with less damage) My hair is now MUCH less white than when i originally did the bleach highights .. You can see it looking regular blond now a bit more yellowish ... so thats why I wanna just dye it completely bleach blond..(like Gwen Stefani... that's the look i was going for from the start)....I heard that if you dye your hair bleach blond over highlights it will break off everywhere the two bleaches meet. I don't get that because tons of people dye their hair bleach blond over and over.. and nothing happens... I loved it when it just came out of the salon b/c it looked super white/platinum.. gwen, christina aguilera white...lol... but then 4 weeks later the highlights sort of faded and now my hair looks regular light blond...NOT WHITE / PLATINUM so i wanna DYE IT (bleach it) completely...my question is, will i end up bald ..does the hair completely LITERALLY break off wherever it touches the highlights?ABOUT DYING HAIR BLEACH BLOND .... HELP PLEASE !!!!!! (A Hair Stylist would be Very Helpful)?
You sound as though you need a toner. Shampoo and conditioning toners are usually sold in purple or blue containers so that you can easily identify them.

Bleach over bleach weakens your hair and ruins it to the point of it breaking and, quite possibly, permanent scarring and baldness. Don' compare your hair to another's as we are all unique and our hair has different needs just like the rest of the body.

My professional advice to you is not to do it as you have no idea of how to mix and apply the bleach yourself. Go to your regular stylist and chat to her about your colour and ask her which products she recommends.

Or, alternatively, take the risk and do it yourself.

Pepper.ABOUT DYING HAIR BLEACH BLOND .... HELP PLEASE !!!!!! (A Hair Stylist would be Very Helpful)?
First try the highlighting shampoo, the purple, it is called Shimmering Lights and you can buy it at Sally's Beauty Supply, it will help to cut any yellowing of the hair.

Now, let's educate you a little, if you don't mind. (1.)You either do a full bleach or a highlight. Full bleach means to bleach the full head of hair and highlights means to pull strands through a cap, or place select strands in foil and bleach or lighten them. (2). You don't dye your hair bleach blonde, you either bleach your hair or dye it a specific blonde shade. (3).Bleach does not fade, dye or color will but bleach usually means to remove all color from the hair and therefore it has to grow out. It will however, become dull or take on a yellow cast or odd tint due to styling products and shampoos that are used.

Please try the Shimmering Lights Shampoo for about 1 week and if you do not see any results then consider the color. Your highlights and or bleach should have a brilliant shine and color for at least a couple months.
If your hair is getting yellow, you should use a shampoo with blue or purple in it. Artec makes a really good one. The blue/purple will counteract the yellow tones.
I've had this same problem.White blond, for some reason, just doesn't seem to stick. The only thing I would recommend besides just having it done at the salon,is getting it as light as possible before you bleach it.Don't worry about the highlights,if you're using an actual hair product and not kitchen bleach your hair won't fall out.Hope this helps,

    Hair stylist screwed up!!?

I just got my hair cut today and it looks horrible! My bangs are literally butchered such that they're about halfway between my hair-line and my eyebrows (and not in a good way). I have no layers and it's shoulder length.

My hair is frizzy (I have damaged brown/blond hair with split ends and the whole deal), and I don't know what to do! I could manage it before (my bangs at least were cute, so I could pull it up in a half pony-tail, etc). I don't want to hide behind a base-ball cap for the rest of my life....

School pictures are in two days!!

    Help?Hair stylist screwed up!!?
unless u want it to be cut more/shorter dont go and cut it agen. it will grow back.

for the photo. simple do your hair in a curly style. there are some many nice sexy looks that u cant acheive that will bring off any bad hair cut. dont give up hope. go to another hair salon. and get there to style it nicely for u the day before pictures. make them show u how to maintain the look. get velcro rollers if u dont already have. good luck =DHair stylist screwed up!!?
Yikes how awful for you :( :( Most hairdressers have no idea of the true length of ONE inch. I just found a great hairdresser. But before we started I demanded that she show me her concept of what one inch actually was. Since she was right on I let her cut my hair.

Hair only grows one half inch per month. Do you or can you get any hairpieces that would match your hair? Or get a wig that is close to your style and color

    Good luck!
    wow. sucks.

    you could get extensions.

orif you can try to put your bangs up. tie your hair. and pull up loose hair with a bobby pin.

or you can straighten your hair with a straightening iron. that way itll look longer cause you said your hair is frizzy.

or you can take your picture again on make-up picture day.

    *last option*

i heard thinky nasty stuff makes your hair grow longer. :P
I once had the same problem. My hair was a mess and it was time to take year book picture. I complain to the person that was cutting my hair and I think it annoyed them even more. She cut my hair supper short. I ended up shaving my head and told everyone that I was having chemo done.
hmm. okay! Go back to your hair dresser and get it redone!! And if they can't do much try bobby pinning your bangs under your hair and make it so that you can't see the bobby pin and you can't tell your bangs are put back. Then try to kinda bring your hair forward and then it should look fine.

    Good Luck

    -鈾?
I feel for you! This has happened to me SO many times in my life! : ( Let me guess Great clips or Super Cuts?? Go and demand your money back, and then go to a more expensive salon and have them try to fix it. Go to your picture and smile and look your best, and if you hate the way it still looks, they offer retakes at every school in about a month! I hope everything works out for you! :) Good luck!!
go back and *****!! quite litteraly too!!! you need to get yourmoney back!!! and just get your hair cut shorter or whatever... tell them to fix it up and for FREE after giving you your cash back! thats wrong!
Omg you have my sympathies....also cuz it can be hard to get an appointment in that short of a time frame.

ok first you go back to that idiot hairdresser and get your dang money back!

then you go to a DIFFERENT hair stylist...that last one obviously didnt have any idea what she was doing. Make sure the one you go to isnt cheap (i know you dont want to spend a ton, and i'm not talking $250 for a trim, but make sure this isnt a $10 cut ok? a person who knows what they're doing and knows it isnt gonna charge lightly) If you dont know of any good stylists, maybe ask a friend whose hair you like who their stylist is.

Best of luck to you, really. That sucks.
OK for your bangs try parting them to the side it might make it hard to see any flaws for your hair go to a good hair dresser make sure she's been working fora whille and ask to get layer

    I hope this helps some
hmm..I had the same problem..my mom had cut mine..and she wasn't seeing good and she cut my bangs way too short. =(] it was terrible.

so yeah the onnly advice I have for you..is to use mane 'n tale shampoo/conditioner..find it in almost any stores..it makes your hair grow sooooooo fast..o_0 its scary. I used it once..and it made my hair grow like in the next week it grew like 1 cm..seriously good growing tecneque.

    ..try it..it may help u..
I agree you should get your money back. And to help with the frizz, if you bleached your hair last put a color on it, even if it's a super light blond that you wont even be able to see and only use half of the developer and put conditioner in the other half, this fills your cuticles to make hair more manageable temporarily. If it wasn't bleached last, the night before or even both nights sleep with conditioner in your hair and try to pin a towel or grocery bag over your hair so it doesn't dry. I think your best bet right now, and i know you're gonna hate this, but stand in front of that damn mirror until you find something that works! And I would highly recommend not letting that place even think about touching your hair again. Good luck to you!

    Hair stylist oh my!?

my former hairstylist told me she was moving to a different state to better herself so of course i congratulated her and gave her my best wishes. anywho i found a new stylist who has a great personality as well as styling skills ive been seeing her for the past few weeks. today i get a call from my former stylist saying she decided not to move and wants me to give her a visit i want to but im head over heels for my new one!!! what to do, what to do!?Hair stylist oh my!?
    Its a stylist...thats it.

I can never understand you women who are so attached to your stylists. 1st of all: they cost an arm and a leg. I would rather spend that money on clothes. 2nd: I just need my hair cut...I do my own hair.

    Hair stylist help!?

At the end of August, a hair salon turned my dyed blonde hair dark brown/green/red (if you can picture that) on accident, and left my hair pretty damaged. I waited until about a week ago to dye it again, and I used an ash blonde dye to take out some of the remaining red and lighten it. The dye barely lightened my hair, but I was happy with the amount of red it took out. Since dying it last week, it feels the same as it did before. Its not great hair, but its not terribly damaged because of the extreme care I've been taking with it. Problem is I NEED to be blonde again! Long story short, how long should I wait before I lighten it again?? I dont want my hair to fall out, but I lack patience. Thanks!Hair stylist help!?
wait at least a month. if you dye it again soon it will be pretty damaged. you don't want your hair to fall off so give it time and then dye it again. i don't recommend dying it too much tho. as soon as you get it the way you want you should give it a break. but use good shampoos like sunsilk to stay with healthy hair.

Hair Stylist that won't shut up!?

I got my hair cut last week and the girl who normally does my hair was not in. This other girl did it and her clear bra was hanging out and she keeped telling me how she needs to get custody of her child. Then she told me about how she needs a case worker and all with crap. TMI TMI I just want my hair cut. She did a great job but my experience was jaded after hearing all the drama.Hair Stylist that won't shut up!?
Next time, tell her you want to relax and chill out.

Some people just don't want to listen to anything.

It is okay to voice your opinion and preference, you are paying for a service!Hair Stylist that won't shut up!?
Just try to subtly change the topic. or next time bring your iPod.
tell her to please stop talking i have a headache
Not an unusual situation at all.....happens constantly. I've had very similar situations and that's why most of us will wait until our stylist is working to get our hair done.

Because you know if you say a word to her about it she is going to f'up your hair!
    TUNE HER OUT.
I hate that! I just wanna get in and get out.

Just grab the scissors out of her hand and stab her in the neck....jk. God I'm feeling violent.
just do what any other guy sould do... say ';uh-uh... yeah yeah.... uh-huh....'; while staring at her cleavage every opportunity you get
sounds like she was hitting on you....
    tell her to shut up
Tell her i was just here for a hair cut i don't need a conversation i get enough from my mom and dad
Maybe she was just having a bad day. You probably cheered her up by listening to her letting off steam. :-)
wear head phones... play music etc. lol usually mine are too quite
I hear ya. I just want someone who will cut my hair. It's supposed to be a relaxing experience, not a ***** session. I say......GET A SHRINK! It's worth it to wait for the person who normally does your hair. I do. Personally, I can't stand my hairdresser. She and I have absolutely NOTHING in common, nor do we think alike. But she doesn't gab me to death and she does a great job on my hair. I don't pay her to be my friend.
i havent paid for a hair cut sine i was a freshman in hs i cut my own hair but i suck at it i just feel its a waste of money i guess im an idiot tmi?
Not too professional in my opinion. Make sure you don't have to have her fill in for your regular again. Or - if you really like what she did to your hair - TELL HER - you can cut my hair - but I don't want you to talk. You're the customer!!!
That's why I have a close personal friend do mine. I go to her house and we open a bottle of wine! It may take awhile, but at least I don't have to engage is BS conversation
You have my sympathy. I know how you feel. There is nothing I hate more than a hair dresser who won't shut up. I really could care less about her problems...MY problem is that I want a good haircut....not her constant chatter that grates on my nerves.

Actually, I don't have a solution to the problem.....hope someone does.
Dont go to her anymore. Or if you do, respectfully ask that she not divuldge her personal life with her professional life.
i know i deal with the same thing myhair dresser is worst though she gabs on and on about religous crap and it dirves me nuts!! but she does an awesome job and at the end of the day would you rather have a good cut with a bad hour of converstaion or a BAD cut with no conversation. one lasts longer than the other so i say id rather the nice cut!
Next time, don't go to the beauty college to have your hair done. Stop being cheap and go to a place where they've already graduated.
Just close your eyes. They will get the hint and that will usually shut em up.
Yes? or wait... No? Is my answer clear enough?
I always wait for my hairlady

if shes not there then i dont get the haircut
Sooooo..... go on... did u have a question?
HAHAHA The same thing happend to me !!! They go one for hours and hours !!! After about 30 min I just spaced out LOL !!! I think I will cut my own hair from now on !!!
if ur single find a hair dresser thats single
';accidently'; rub your elbow against her breasts when she is cutting your hair..might keep her quiet or she might take you in back and blow you..either way..shes doing something with her mouth other than talking.
Go in with your ipod and zone out. Better yet, just tell her the minute you sit down that you couldn't wait to get there so you could relax, close your eyes and take a quick nap. Hopefully you won't encounter her again but there are ways to be tactful but direct. Put a bug in your girl's ear next time and tell her to tell this one to quit being the patron and start being the bartender!
Next time wait until the other girl is in.
I've heard that closing your eyes when getting your hair done is a sign that you don't want a conversation.
maybe she just needed somebody to talk to, and she has nobody there for her.

    wouldn't that suck?

..but wouldn't it be great if you were in the same situation as her and someone listened to all of your problems and gave you advice?

sometimes you just have to realize everything happens for a reason..you might not have needed her but she needed you

  • What do I tell a stylist to get this Reese Witherspoon hair??

My printer is out of ink so, I can't print it out for reference. What exactly do I need to say to her so that this will be the end result. As of now, I have no bangs whatsoever and my hair is a bit thin. I would also like it a wee bit shorter. Opinions please??

http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/1148/鈥?/a>What do I tell a stylist to get this Reese Witherspoon hair??
Most hair salons have an email address. You could email it to them and then they could print it out. If that doesn't work out you could ask a friend to print it out for you.

It's very hard to describe a hair style like that.

PS: Hair salons have a lot of hair magazines. I would look through them when you get there and find one that is similar or just like the one you want and give it to her/him.What do I tell a stylist to get this Reese Witherspoon hair??
can you ask a friend to print it???

or ask your stylist if you can email it to her???

if not say you want your hair cut to....

    and you want choppy layers

    with bangs to....

that can be sort of angled to look like sidebangs.

but since you said your hair is thin... your bangs wont look as full as that. but you probably know that already.

its a good idea to get layers. it will make your hair seem fuller.
Take a picture on your phone, camera or anything and show the hairdressers. And, as Reese is fairly well known if you just said ';you'd like Reese Witherspoon hair'; they'd most likely get it right.

    good luck!

Should i tip my stylist if she is the owner of the salon and she doesnt even touch my hair?

The shampoo girl washes and sets my hair, all my stylist does is spray my hair with hair spray then I'm doneShould i tip my stylist if she is the owner of the salon and she doesnt even touch my hair?
No I wouldn't. In fact I think it's inappropriate since she owns the business and evidently doesn't do anything but spray. She shouldn't need to rely on tips like the stylists. Also, the one you want to keep happy is the one who actually does your hair not the owner. You go to that shop because you like the way they style your hair so tip the stylist.Should i tip my stylist if she is the owner of the salon and she doesnt even touch my hair?
You are saying two separate things here, first you say she does not even touch your hair and you say she sprays your hair with hair spray.... Anyway the correct rule of thumb in a service biz is you do not tip the owner. Yet you sound annoyed so do what you want.
You don't have to tip the owner, and I wouldn't tip anyone who just sprayed my hair. Give the whole tip to the shampoo girl.
Tip the shampoo girl, then give the stylist a little less tip - she might get the hint and the shampoo girl gets what she really deserves!
Tip the shampoo girl since she does the work.
Tip both of them, half and half.
I wouldn't, save it for the one who actually does your hair.

Boxed perms vs. hair stylist perms?

Im an African-American female and just wanted to know if boxed perms are better for my hair than what a hair stylist might put on my hair. My hair stlyist said that boxed perms are bad for your hair and can dry it out and that her perms that she buys are better for my hair and won't dry it out. Which is better and why??Boxed perms vs. hair stylist perms?
I wouldn't say that either perms are any better or worse...I actually think they are about the same quality. But there are advantages to going to the stylist. First, they will probably do a better job at getting the perm on all of the new growth. let's face it, they have much better lighting than the average bathroom or kitchen and because they are standing over you they'll be less likely to miss a spot. Another problem with doing it at home is that you'll need to make sure all of the perm is out in order to prevent breakage. If any is left in, it can destroy your hair. Most shops have the high pressure rinsers that can get all of the perm out of your hair. If you're really careful you should be ok with the boxed perms though. Just don't try to do it by yourself. Hope this helps :o)Boxed perms vs. hair stylist perms?
I prefer hair stylist perms. A good hairstylist knows which perm to use for your hair type, what to do to keep your hair from falling out or breaking off, how to keep the hair shiny, etc.
I would not suggest doing this yourself. As you know your hair type is the most fragile and I would hate to see you over process your hair and damage it severly. I.e. Chemical haircut!

Leave this type of chore to the professionals, it can be pricy but in the end you will achive a better result and less damage!
Your beautician is trying to take you. Check out Sally's Beauty Brands wholesales. They sell the same products that are used by many shops. Don't let her get you. Do some investigation on your own.
the boxed perm she would use comes from a beauty supply house. the ones from the department store are really strong and will most likely fry your hair and scalp. better off letting the pros do it. takes a long time for hair to grow back!
A hair stylist perm would be better for your hair. The box perms are good, but way too drying!
there could be a big difference in product quality or it could be the same, but either way a hairstylist is trained and licensed to do it so that would be a better choice. if you are just trying to save money, try a beauty school.
hair stylist! b/c perms (all of them) fry your hair but the stylist have certain stuff they put on it that just soaks up in your hair b/c its so damaged so yea defintaly pro.

Hair stylists, how do you get your client's hair so straight?

I bought the exact same hair straightening serum and the exact same straighting balm that the woman that cuts my hair uses. I flat iron my hair the same way but my hair never stays straight like when she does it.

What are some techniques that you use to get hair straight?Hair stylists, how do you get your client's hair so straight?
when stylists straighten hair, they pull a comb through the hair infront of the straightener. it allows the hair to be untangled and not laying on top of other hair which just makes is crumpled and not straight. try smaller sections tooHair stylists, how do you get your client's hair so straight?
buy clips like the hairdressers use and section your hair off into thinner pieces. when you straighten, tilt the edge of the straightener that is pointing up away from you a tiny bit and pull it slowly, but not so slowly it will damage your hair. if you have product in, a LITTLE bit of steam is good, it shows that its drying out the product and its working.

i'm not a stylist so i dont really have any good tips, i just know that stuff cos my hairdresser taught me those tips lol

hope i helped a tiny bit

Do hair stylists rely on tips the same way as wait staff in a restaurant do?

I tip 20% but sometimes depending on what I get done it can get a bit pricey. I have always wondered if stylists need to be tipped 20% as well.Do hair stylists rely on tips the same way as wait staff in a restaurant do?
Of course they should, anytime someone is giving you a service, may it be hairstyling or servicing you in a restaurant, they deserve a tip. 20% may mean a too much to you, but it means alot more to them. Think about all the work they do into making you look great. If it's getting too pricey for you, then I'd suggest going to the hairdresser only to get your hair styled, then going to a haircuttery to get it trimmed. You'll save tons of money doing that. Or if you really like the salon, try going to a junior assistant. At my last appt. my girl was sick, so I had her assistant do it, she was just working with what my girl had done for me a few months ago. Not only did it look great, but it was 20 dollars cheaper.

Good luck!Do hair stylists rely on tips the same way as wait staff in a restaurant do?
Yes they do! Stylist are usually paying to rent their chair or they are only paid a % on what they bring in and make in tips.

So tips are a big part of the wages!
Not all, some rent their booth and keep their earnings but have to pay weekly/monthly rental or they work on some kind of a percentage.......so well maybe they do depend upon the tips to supplement. One salon I used to go to they refused tips because they said it was part of their job to do the service and the friendliness came free.
yes, my sister is a hairstylist and tips are the better part of her pay.

What is the BEST hair dryer for a professional stylist?

I just bought the evolution dryer, you can get it at Mayl's or Cosmo prof, I love mine, it is lightweight and it gets really hot so i recommend it only to professionals. They make an equivalent one called featherweight , it costs less and doesn't get as hot, my coworker has that one and she likes it too but she likes mine better. It is also pretty pricey so be prepared to spend between $160.00 to $200.00.What is the BEST hair dryer for a professional stylist?

    the color???

http://s39.photobucket.com/albums/e171/anne09/?action=view%26amp;current=alexa-havins-blonde-ponytail-hairst.jpgHow can i tell my hair stylist to do this...?
You have a photo! Awesome! print it out and show her. It is so difficult when people dont have a photo and they try telling you what color they want. Everybodies interpretation or description of color is different so show her the picture! Not to mention ever colorline is different so a honey blonde may be a sandy blonde in a different line so with that picture she can work with her colorline. Good luck! How can i tell my hair stylist to do this...?
You need to print the picture (in color of course) and bring it to your stylist otherwise you wont get the color you want. good luck!
Ash blonde maybe? They usuall have samples of hair colour around the salon so you can just pick the one you want
bring him/her the picture...hope that helps:).
light ash blonde. that should do the trick.

Was letting my stylist use thinning shears on my curly hair a mistake?

I was unhappy with my long, thick, curly hair because it was getting too long and bulky to take care of especially in the summer. So my stylist cut some layers into it and used thinning shears on the underside a bit to remove some of the bulk. I really liked how it felt when she finished and it looked cute. That was two days ago. Now I've been reading things online that say you should never use thinning shears if you have curly hair because it just gives you more frizz when it starts to grow out. I'm wondering if letting her do this was a mistake? She seemed certain that it was a good idea. Does it work for some people or do those dreaded frizzies come around for everyone who has this done as it grows out more? Since the cut is so new, how soon will I know if this was a good idea for my hair? Should I just let it grow out for a while now? And for all you curly headed girls out there, any tips on managing frizzy, curly hair? Thanks! :-)Was letting my stylist use thinning shears on my curly hair a mistake?
The reason it gets frizzy is because those particular hairs that got cut don't get cut again when you go for a trim. On shorter hair, this may not be such a big deal, but on longer hair it can be.

If you don't color or bleach your hair, and take good care and condition it well, you will minimize the damage.

Also, use lots of product as mentioned above, but that will only help so much.

Complain to your stylist as she should have mentioned this effect to you when you got your trim. Was letting my stylist use thinning shears on my curly hair a mistake?
Mistake maybe, depends on the humidity. A stylist used on my very curly hair to get rid of the bulk. Looked good for about 2 days and then the humidity went up and the longer my hair grew out the frizzier it got. And all the styling product I used just made it feel heavy. The problem with curly hair is finding a great stylist who actually knows her and or his stuff. I am not taking wavy or bouncy hair I am talking curly like if u dont blow it dry some what u get tight curl.
mistake...it will get frizzy but if you really like it just use plenty of products ....and anti frizz cream
its bad for ethnic hair. its not bad for curly hair unless she did it too high up or close to your scalp. it's depending how curly your hair is and the texture. if its thick coarse hair than no razoring either. my sister has medium curly-wavy hair and her hair looks fine with thinning and razoring.

I want to play a joke on my hair stylist, what should I do?

Purchase one of those bald skin caps and put it on. Walk into the salon wearing a hat, and when you sit down in the chair take of the hat and say that you just want a bit taken off the top!!I want to play a joke on my hair stylist, what should I do?
grab her boobs.I want to play a joke on my hair stylist, what should I do?
Either come in with a rubber bald head or stick tiny fake insects near your scalp in different places, or all bunched together!
that's a bad idea because if they dont have a sense of humor your could end up leaving with your ear in two pieces
Never annoy the person that cuts your hair or prepares your food-life lesson
Ask to have it died your own colour, or ask them do they mind if you have lice!
walk in with a poofy colored wig and say ';WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAIR';!
    bald wig!
    Just Show up
Show them your tongue, after you'd had the tattoo done.
I would say when he/she starts cutting ur hair get up get all mad and cuss he/she for cutting it when all u wanted wash a shampoo...
    Shave it before going in.
I think its time you played a joke on him, he obviously has played plenty of jokes on your hair.
Get some white glitter and put in your hair and say you have a bad case of lice.
Put on a wig...they'll be surprised when it falls off...
Quite right mate , he's played enough on you !!
Place lots of chewing gum in it.

    Contract nits.

    Wear a wig.
DRINK ONLY STRAWBERRY DRINKS, HAVE PINK STUDS IN YOUR CHEEKS.
It should involve your ear and fake blood
spray paint it in different colors
    Er...why?

    Get lice.

If you're doing them yourself then you might want to start going to a professional who will select the best relaxer for your hair to get your hair straight. If you are currently letting a professional apply your relaxer then you should take this up with her and ask why your hair is not getting bone straight. If she doesn't give you a good answer then think about seeking advice from another professional, because every hair dresser does not have the same skills - some are just better and more knowledgeable than others.

I got my hair cut and newly styled today. It looks very nice. It took about 25 minutes. She charged me $17. I gave her that, plus a $5 tip. Is that enough? Too little? Too much?Tipping hair stylist?
That's a good tip! I generally round up, so I would have given $3.00 to make it $20.00. But to be honest, if (s)he went over the top, did what I liked, quickly enough without rushing and were still sociable, then I'd be really generous. I've given a $100 tip once. Only once.Tipping hair stylist?
That sounds about right to me.
    great tip.
Wow! Great price for a cut. My hairdresser charges 3 times that
The tip was generous. 15% would have been just right.
You were very generous. $5.00 was a good tip. Most people probably would have given $3.00; to make it an even 20.
tip is on the high side, but if that is your style then good! I really think it should be built in to the price, but...
    Good Tip
that was nearly 30%-a very high tip
I normally tip 20% if I like the job. SOmetimes I wait a couple days to make sure I like it then go back in and tip. Like if I get my hair chemically treated. I put a strainer in the shower to see how much of my hair falls out if the chem was left in too long. I do not tip though on the amt of products I buy with the hair care, just the 20% on the hair cut/treatment.

    Hmm Hair Stylist Question...?

Ok.. so i have been a hair stylist for a year and when i first started i could never make my layers blend in all of the haircuts that i did... well i have solved that problem and now i wanna know if someone comes in and wants a choppy haircut how do i give that to them... because basically if they want it choppy i feel like its an unfinished haircut... how can i make it choppy but also make it blend???Hmm Hair Stylist Question...?
well, just do the layers as you normally would, but after wards, you can texturise them by using a rtazor, or a chipping technique, but as you have only been a hairdresser for only a year, just go easy.Hmm Hair Stylist Question...?
After you have the layers the length you want them %26amp; they're blended, go back through with chunky texturizing shears or point cut the ends giving it the choppy look but it will still be even.
    Point cut it:-) Or razor...

im pretty sure he is a hairstylest. i dont know if he does Audrina's hair, but isnt it kind of ironic and stereotypical that the hair dresser also has bad hair. its not always true, but sometimes it is.

If you need a black hair stylist, you better be black or they won't help you! Light skinned blacks with naturally straight hair need not apply. That being said, open the phone book, if you are black enough, you'll recognize the secret black hair stylist code words that ensure only black people touch other black people's hair. Ask to see their headshots or hair book--if you see any skinny white chicks, find someone else! Otherwise, you risk looking like Doris Day--forever!

    Wavy hair help?!?!?!?!? hair stylist????

i have probably tryed 10 different scrunching products and they never make my hair wavy and the waves never stay. what is the best product for scrunching hair?? also give step by step directions. thanks.=]Wavy hair help?!?!?!?!? hair stylist????
It's really more than one product to achieve what your wanting. Matrix has awesome shampoo and conditioner for curls-called curl up. Marry this with curl up spray and a diffuser. If your using a rough shampoo before or something that's not for curly hair then it doesn't matter what product you use.Wavy hair help?!?!?!?!? hair stylist????
Oi. I wanna know how to get it out.
    If you don't have any natural wave to your hair then there's not much you can do, a diffuser fot your blow dryer (starting around $6 at Sallys Beauty Supplies) could help. Start with your hair damp, add gels/mouses etc, useing your hands and fingers wad your hair up in your palm/fist (that is the ';scrunching'; part) do this ALOT, then using a diffuser attched to your blowdryer, ';cup'; your hair in the diffusers bowl/head, let hair set in there with the dryer on low/medium until its dry, dry your hair one section at a time until its all atleast 95% dry. If you have trouble, have your stylist show you how to do this, if you have a regular stylist most of them will show/explain this procedure for free. There's no miricle product to make straight hair wavy, it's mostly trial and error, if you really want wave you may need a ';loose body perm';
The best way for you to do, mix mousse and gel with your towel dry hair, work it out until your hair dry, then put hairspray just make sure your only getting the mist from the spray. this will help for sure. (Hold the spraynet 12 inches away from your hair).

    Hair stylist question?

can anyone tell me how much a hair stylist would charge by the hour to get really bad tangles out (hair got really tangled under my hair extesions) i would go to the person who put them in but she said if they get tangled ever again she wont do my hair againHair stylist question?
your hair stylist sounds like a b***h. no offenense. I would think for really bad tangles, maybe $40 an hour. Or, you could get a mega size bottle of combing solution and go crazy!! :)Hair stylist question?
its probably going to cost around 65.00. Not a cheap ordeal..Its a lot of work to get them out, therefore its going to cost..sorry. To add to the comment below, All persons working in a salon touching any heads require a state board license, whether it be, shampooing, or combing out hair.
Wash your hair as normal then apply Biolage Conditioning Balm to your hair in the shower. Leave on for five minutes then rinse out. Get a wide tooth comb from Sally Beauty Supply and start in small sections from the root to tip picking out the tangles. The salon will basically do the same thing if your extensions have already been removed. Luckily tangle removal does not require a licensed stylist to do the work or shampooing. Therefore call around explain your situation an apprentice can do the work. Only chemical, styling, and cutting services require a licensed stylist. I used to work as a stylist and would make my non-licensed assistant or the receptionist help do the work.

    that is actually 4 colors

Caramel with honey blond highlights - maybe some extensions
that is not just one color it has many high-lites the best thing to do is find some one with a photo printer..maybe save pic to computer and save on disk. Then you can take to hair salon if they have computer or to kinkos to print for you. good luck it looks great!
Dark Brown with Dark Blonde and Golden Highlights
thick, honey or dark honey blonde highlights I guess. I'm sure you'll get to see the colors or something. good luck!
hey copy and paste this. it will give you a hair color chart.. just compare.. there are a lot of diff ones if you just type it in to a search engine

That is so many colors and so much dye and so many hi-lites and so many lo-lites. You'd have to take that picture to an expensive salon if that is what you want. What a beauty!
Looks like a brown/auburn mix with a dark blonde highlight

What is my hair stylist's motive?

ok, so my hair stylist is a male. Plz help! What is my hair stylist's motive?
Maybe he doesn't want your ego to get swollen up because he wants you but he really does think you're pretty. What is my hair stylist's motive?
    My guess? He's saying that to convince you to let him do something extreme/drastic, so that he can have a large difference in his before and after photos. Honestly, I think if he wants you on his posters, he does think you're pretty, he's just trying to ';sell'; you his idea of ';all that.';

What should I do if a stylist ****** up my hair???

...it's not cut straight, there are random long pieces and my right side is about an inch longer than my left...What should I do if a stylist ****** up my hair???
Go back to the salon, talk to the manager, and have them (not the same stylist) redo your hair. It should be free if not discounted. If you complain about your dissatisfaction of your style in a calm way, they are more apt to fix the problem for you. What should I do if a stylist ****** up my hair???
YES girl just as Ash said go back and have them fix it...this happened to me like 3 weeks ago...the girl wanted to fix it and I said I wanted someone else to b/c obviously something wasn't on point...I had one side longer too...go back and tell them what you went in for and they will see how it looks and let them know you don't want to pay for it to be done right like it should have been the first time...don't let too much time go by the sooner the better...stay professional don't talk rude or smart but state the facts and let them know how they can satisfy you since you did pay for it to be professionally done and it looks otherwise...umm hmm...
Go back and make them fix it. They messed up they will redo it and it should not cost anything.
Go and get your money back, but I would not suggest letting the same person try to fix it. They didn't know what they were doing the first time,so I'm sure they will only make it worse. I think you should go to a different salon and have it evened out. Try to check out some hair that the stylist did before letting them do your hair. Good luck.
call the salon and ask to speak to the manager. tell her/him what your dilemma is, and you did not want to embarrass the person who initially cut your hair by coming back in to have it re cut, but something has to be done to fix the problem.
    sue him/her
    Wow.

Go back to the salon and insist someone fix it. They'll do it :-)
Go back and let the owner or manager know about the cut and let them not the original stylist who did the cut fix it.
My friend had a similar problem. She and I were getting highlights and the lady that did hers didn't take that long and she only got the top part and she paid for all over and really you only notice it if it's up in a ponytail. We got blonde highlights and people were calling us bumblebee.
Go to another salon! If the one you went to first hired this person, the next person you get may be just as bad. Ask some of your friends to recommend a good stylist.

Bringing Your Own Hair Dye To A Stylist?

I'm wondering if it's rude or a faux pas to bring your own hair color to a styling salon. I want to get my hair a certain shade that I think a lot of salons just don't get or wouldn't be able to mix up right . . . but I don't want to do the coloring myself. So, stylists, would you be okay with it?Bringing Your Own Hair Dye To A Stylist?
whats the point then? do it yourself or have a friend do it. it is like cooking all the food yourself and hiring a caterer to serve it...Bringing Your Own Hair Dye To A Stylist?
That depends on the salon. If you do bring it in,be prepared to pay the full price .They do not give a discount for you bringing your own product. But,if you can not find anyone else to help you, then it probably would be worth the investment. Do shop around, some charge less than others. Good Luck!
i would consider it very very rude if my costomers didnt trust me they have trays of fake colored hair see if they have the right color if not txt someone to call you and say sry gotta go someone died
In my salon, bringing your own hair color is an absolute NO and NO WAY. I use Framesi Hair Color and I guarantee that if your hair color is not the one you choose, whether you bring the box with the color you want on it, or choose your color from the many shades in the color swatch chart, you won't be paying me a penny. If you choose a color which will not be possible for your hair, I will tell you up front that it cannot be done and the reason or reasons why and suggest other color options for you. I don't charge for consultations. Get a free consultation from a professional. If they don't guarantee that you will not owe them any money if the color is not what you choose, then go somewhere else. Keep checking salons until you find one that does. Hope this helps and good luck.
    Nope...you shouldn't bring any color...b/c they won't do it.
yeah you could that's what my mom dose all the time

  • Good Hair Stylist for Curly Hair??

I have very curly, difficult hair and am looking for a stylist in the Royal Oak/Troy/Birmingham area that is excellent with curly hair. Any recommendations??Good Hair Stylist for Curly Hair??
I haven't been to see him yet (newborn baby in the house), but my curly haired friend has had good luck with a stylist at Changez Salon in RO on Crooks, south of 13 Mile. Typically, I'm opposed to visiting places that use 'zs' when they should use an 's', and also tend to stay away from salons in strip malls, but my friend's hair always looks great. I'm not sure what his name is, bur call up the salon and ask for their curly haired specialist and you'll get him.

    Good luck!

HA! To add to SS's answer, I haven't been to Annette's for hair care, but got both a mani and a pedi from Suda. Both were awesome and reasonably priced.Good Hair Stylist for Curly Hair??
I'm going off of Trish's answer - As she said, Changez is on Crooks, just south of 13 Mile. It's in the strip mall immediately on the other side of the corner gas station (you're too far south if you take the curve in the road).

I used to go there all the time. They have reasonable prices, are nice, and the place is clean. (Jason is GREAT but charges more and is in high demand, since he's an owner.) I've only gotten one bad cut there, from a new girl - can't remember her name (Jennifer?).

I don't know how they are with curly hair, since that's not my hair type. But it's worth trying at least once. Phone number - 248-288-3434 (source - programmed in my cell)

EDIT: You should also try Annette's Hair Studio. It's on the expensive side, but my sister swears by them (she has really curly hair). Annette's is on Woodward, between 13 and 14 Mile, at the end of Starr Rd (side street) - Royal Oak.
You should try the salons on Washington Street in Royal Oak (Downtown) The people always leave there looking Hollywood. Also, the Salon at Somerset is awesome (H%26amp; something). Or, Salon Rehe in Ferndale. She does really nice cuts.

Is there any barber/hair stylist who visit here.id like to chat bout my hair lol or even go on yahoo messenger

This looks like an ad for Supercuts, LOL. I'm not into taking my career to messenger, but i did sign on her to help giving advice. So far almost everyone I've helped has rated me best answer, so drop a question and I'll be happy to answer the best that i can online. Or you may use my e-mail at classy_in_new_york@yahoo.com. However, I do not joke around that is one of my e-mails used for my career and helping others so please don't waste my time, it is for serious questions only. ThanksIs there any barber/hair stylist who visit here.id like to chat bout my hair lol or even go on yahoo messenger
I am a salon manager and would recomend going to a Supercuts in your area as they have the latest trends and are constently educating there staff with on going education. People think that Supercuts is a ';break-in house'; for stylist just out of school and that is NOT true. We look for the best qualified applicants for the job whether they have been cutting hair for 1 month or 10 plus years. Also keep in mind when you have a good or bad experience with a stylist remember it is the stylist NOT the company that is giving you that experience. Good Luck!

What would i ask my hair stylist?

what would i ask my hair stylist if i want this kind of haircut without bringing a picture

http://www.menshairstyles.net/v/mens-medium-hair-styles/Teen+men+hairstyle+with+long+bangs_fashion+hairstyle.jpg.htmlWhat would i ask my hair stylist?
you ask them why you didnt print out the picture and bring it.. it would make it so much easierWhat would i ask my hair stylist?
print out the picture.. what you are seeing in your mind is usually not what they are seeing in theirs. they can get it close but a pic is worth a thousand words. i learned the hard way. i should have found a pic of victoria beckam instead of expecting them to know what she looked like!!!!!!!
why cant you just bring the picture?

    but anywho...

just say you want to keep it kind of long and that you want the side sweep look

    also, say you want layers
say you want a long shaggy fringe/bang that is slightly swept to the side of your face. you also want it faily long in length, about chin level.

    :)
This looks like a similar haircut Zac Efron has. Tell her that you want you hair like Zac Efron. Then decide if you want your bangs to be down like the picture or side bangs like Zac's. Good luck.
from my experience, always bring in a picture :)
long and even? ear length and a bit longer in the back?
    a shaggy skatter do

IS TONY&GUY A GOOD HAIR STYLIST?

I wanna kno if tony and guy are good hair stylist's??IS TONY%26amp;GUY A GOOD HAIR STYLIST?
Yep very good. However, they are completely overpriced in terms of getting your hair cut there. They specialise in hair colouring/more alternative hairstyles.

If you want a simple cut/colour...I'd recommend going somewhere cheaper. Even a wet cut at Toni %26amp; Guy is about 拢50. Rip off!

What should i ask the hair stylist ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv7UOBYnryMWhat should i ask the hair stylist ?
I think you should type that hairstyle's detail in googles images and once u find the picture most similar to it, then just print it and show it to the hairstylest =D

I always do that when i find an awsome hairstyle but dont know how to explain it. Lol
