print out the picture.. what you are seeing in your mind is usually not what they are seeing in theirs. they can get it close but a pic is worth a thousand words. i learned the hard way. i should have found a pic of victoria beckam instead of expecting them to know what she looked like!!!!!!!
why cant you just bring the picture?

just say you want to keep it kind of long and that you want the side sweep look


also, say you want layers
say you want a long shaggy fringe/bang that is slightly swept to the side of your face. you also want it faily long in length, about chin level.
