My sister-in-law is a new hair stylist and I'd like to get her something that goes along with her career for xmas.
My mother in law got her a necklace with scissors, and she has a new pair of scissors she got for her bday.

You could get her some supplies that she could use in a salon. Like a new shampoo cape, or a cool apron. Or you could get her some color bowls and brushes, spray bottles, hair clips(butterfly clips, you can never have enough of those) or some tailcombs or regular ones
