NEED HAIR STYLIST PROFESSIONAL ADVICE!?

What shampoo and conditioner brands are the best for colour treated hair? I was told by my stylist not to use Pantene anymore, because the soft feeling it was giving my hair was only a build up of wax caused by the shampoo itself! I want my hair colour to stay in for as long as possible, but I still want it to feel amazingly soft and stay silky and shiny. : )NEED HAIR STYLIST PROFESSIONAL ADVICE!?
I am surprised she didn't suggest anything herself. I recommend using Paul Mitchell color care shampoo and conditioner.
